NICOLE MARIE CECH

hey@nicolecech.com

I’m an urbanist, artist, and historian. I write about displacement, the psychological impact of spatial design, and the power of art to obscure or illuminate injustice. I’ve held fellowships with the Smithsonian, Stanford, and the Ruby and written for Vox Media, Auto-straddle, and various other publications. When not writing, you can find me in the garage woodturning or in the kitchen covered in flour.
